It has come to our attention that individuals may be receiving texts or emails purportedly from clergy or leaders within our parish asking for gift cards or financial assistance with travel. Please know that the Diocese does not allow anyone to solicit financial contributions or assistance for an individual nor approves of solicitation for personal business as a representative of the Church. If you are approached by a leader, whether clergy, employee or volunteer, within the parish for any cause regarding financial assistance and you choose to respond, always require a contract and receipt upon completion of the transaction.
